Chronic Pelvic Pain

Chronic pelvic pain (CPP) is a common condition, with a prevalence similar to that of lower back pain.

Patients – both men and women – may experience pelvic or lower abdominal pain, bladder irritation, or pressure / pain around the perineum that makes it difficult to sit down, exercise or have sex comfortably.

I provide an holistic approach to treating pelvic pain conditions including:

  • Pain associated with endometriosis

  • Vulvodynia (vulval pain)

  • Dyspareunia (painful intercourse)

  • Vaginismus

  • Coccydynia (coccyx pain)

I offer the following treatments:

  • Pain management advice and education

  • Internal and external soft tissue treatment

  • Dietary / lifestyle modification

  • Exercise prescription

  • Relaxation

  • Acupuncture

  • Graded exercise training

  • Breath re-education
